How to draw a treasure map with your own hands: a few simple ways
The first method is for the parent.
To begin with, you should decide on the place where the long-awaited reward will await the “treasure hunters”. A package of delicious cookies, fruit or any other delicacy is quite suitable for her. Having discovered what was hidden, the kids will not only be happy, but will also enjoy a snack. Once the location has been chosen, you can get down to business. Since drawing a treasure map for children is quite simple, even those who haven’t picked up a pencil for a long time can cope with this task.

Of course, we prepared a map with our own hands on aged paper (a sheet of Whatman paper was soaked several times in tea leaves, then slightly torn and the edges were scorched over a candle), and we printed out a pirate’s dictionary and honorary pirate diplomas (more on that below).
Treasure Hunt Map
For the outfit, I cut a scarf from black fabric and sketched out a skeletal design with white paint.
We also prepared personalized souvenirs (they put them in bags, tied them with a coarse cord, and made seals from plasticine, with the initials of the birthday girl and guests written on them).
Ships were quickly built on the table from eggs, mayonnaise, sausage and cheese. Toothpicks were used as masts, and pirate flags were pre-printed in a photo studio on A4 sheet, cut out and glued to toothpicks.
Aged paper
To make the card, I bought a large piece of dark parchment paper. The map does not have to be large, it all depends on the age of the children; the older they are, the more difficult it is to depict the route. You can replace the parchment paper with any thick packaging paper or a cut brown paper grocery bag.
