How does Feng Shui work?

This is not psychology - the influence of Feng Shui does not depend on our faith.

For example, if we don’t think about it or know about it, then Feng Shui will not influence us! No, it works anyway, whether you know about it or not.

Feng Shui is actually a very simple and logical art. The main thing is to understand its essence and principles, which is what we will do in the “Feng Shui for Beginners” course.

Operating principles of the “School of Eight Aspirations of Feng Shui”

The basic basis of the “school of eight aspirations of feng shui” is that, according to this theory, each room is divided into nine equal parts - energy zones. Eight of them correspond to the main geographical directions: north, northwest, northeast, south, southwest, southeast, east and the center itself. You can determine which sector a certain area of your home corresponds to using an ordinary tourist compass.

Each of the presented zones corresponds to certain energies. With the help of simple techniques and recommendations, these energy flows can be strengthened and activated in order to improve the quality of your life in the desired area.

First, let's figure out what each individual sector of the living space is responsible for.

The southern zone is responsible for the energies of fame, wealth, success and popularity.
The southeast is considered a zone of wealth, financial stability and material well-being.

Ways to revitalize energy sectors

The area you have chosen should be additionally illuminated for three hours a day (you can increase the duration of the session if you are striving for quick results). Not only the intensity, but also the color of the lighting matters. So, for the zone of love and family relationships, a red lamp is best suited. It is recommended to illuminate the area of money, career and travel with streams of green light. It is advisable to nourish the health sector with blue and violet rays.

Each fragrance has certain properties and qualities. This is a topic for a separate article. You can familiarize yourself in detail with their characteristics and choose the most effective scent for your case using specialized literature. Having made your choice, buy an incense stick or an aroma lamp with a set of essential oils. They should be placed for an hour in the area that you want to imbue with special energy.

Talismans and symbols play an important role in Feng Shui practices. They should be selected individually for each sector of the living space. Thus, you can optimize the energies of the northern zone with the help of the following talismans - a fountain, a metal horseshoe, Chinese coins tied with a red ribbon, fish and their three-legged frog sitting on coins, crystal figurines.

Crystals, a crystal globe, images of an owl, a lotus, a “wind chime” with eight tubes, Chinese gods, clay and plaster products are ideal talismans that should be placed in the zone of wisdom and knowledge, which, according to the “School of the Eight Aspirations of Feng Shui,” is located on northeast.

The following items will help to activate the health and family zone: living plants, landscapes, wooden crafts, jade eggs, dragon figurines.

For the zone of wealth and prosperity, located in the southeastern sector, the following talismans are recommended: a fountain, an amethyst crystal, Chinese gods of wealth (Hottei, Daikoku, the god of happiness and abundance, Ebisu, the god of happiness and good luck, Liu Hai, the god of coins, Lakshmi, goddess of prosperity, especially effective in helping women, star elders, god Ganesha), turtle, “wind music” with four pipes.

Do you crave fame and recognition? Then place in the southern part of your house - nine red candles, a crystal pyramid, an image of a phoenix, a horse figurine or an image of an eagle soaring above the ground.

The zone of love and personal harmony can be strengthened with the help of the following talismans: scarlet candles, peonies, images of mountains, various types of hearts, Chinese red lanterns, paired jade eggs, figurines of mandarin ducks, lotus flowers. For the central zone you can use bamboo, a globe, an image of peaches, figures of a crane, a turtle and the so-called circle of creation.

We activate the North-West by placing a horseshoe, a metal bell, images of saints or angels, and a yellow box in this zone.

Here, perhaps, are all the basic principles and concepts necessary to become familiar with the fascinating, ancient practice of Feng Shui, which allows you to bring goodness and harmony into your life.

Where to begin

The first law of Feng Shui: there should be no trash, dirt or anything around a person that causes discomfort and unpleasant memories.

We are talking not only about household items, but also about toxic relationships, an unloved activity. By clearing the space around us, we let in the flow of life, and with it something new and positive.

Wish card

To quickly attract positive changes in your life, make a wish map. Divide the board into nine sectors, they will correspond to the Bagua sectors. Place a personal photo in the center. In the remaining parts, write or glue the desired benefits that correspond to the sectors.

Attracting love

To attract a soul mate, only paired symbols are taken. These are doves, mandarin ducks or swans, dolphins, fish. From inanimate objects - candles, pillows, cups. Always fold out your bed or sofa, do not sleep on the half.

Paintings depicting flowers also work as love magnets: peonies, lotuses, camellias, azaleas, roses, violets. Living plants have even more powerful energy. Just don't forget to take care of them.
